A complex routing challenge — solved smarter, completed cleaner.
This project, completed in collaboration with Master Electrician Jeremy LeClair of Bear Electric, involved careful planning and execution — including disassembling and rebuilding a portion of a stone wall to run the new underground service.
What made this project unique was the routing challenge. The original line crossed the road to a shared pole serving multiple homes, with an active well nearby that would have significantly increased costs. Instead, we engineered a smarter solution — running the new service through the woods to a different pole on the same side of the road, all without crossing property lines.
We pride ourselves on working directly with a variety of licensed subcontractors to find the best, most efficient solutions for our customers — no matter how complex the project.
A portion of an existing stone wall was carefully disassembled to allow for underground conduit routing, then fully rebuilt to restore the property's original appearance.
Rather than crossing the road to a shared pole — which would have triggered significant additional costs due to a nearby active well — we engineered an alternate route through the woods to a pole on the same side of the road.
Heavy excavation equipment was used to trench a clear, code-compliant path through wooded terrain, all while staying within property lines.
Working alongside Master Electrician Jeremy LeClair of Bear Electric, we coordinated the full installation of the new underground electrical service, including conduit, meter base, and panel connection.
Following trenching and installation, the disturbed yard area was graded and finished to restore the site to a clean, stable condition.

Excavator trenching through wooded corridor — routing the underground line to a same-side pole

Site after trenching — restored yard with new service connection routed to the home

Completed meter base installation — new service panel mounted on treated lumber backing
